Things I saw Today:

- The moon, split perfectly in half.

- A couple fighting : " You know I haven't smoked Crack in thirteen years!"

- Those same teenagers, making out.

-A name-tag on the sidewalk: ' Weightwatchers: Hello My Name Is : Carol.

- a lemon on my counter.

-a man who looked just like Eric Clapton, reading a book about...Eric clapton...

- my arms, sunburned.

-That homeless guy..looking kinda sober.

-A man in line at the Rite Aid, holding 22 cartons of yogurt.

-The sun setting over Queens.

-An old friend, sitting at the top of the Times Square Stairs.

-Tracks from a pigeon in wet cement.

- A man revealing himself to passengers on the moving F train.

Things I saw today

- A clown waiting for the E train, he looked like Pete Townsend.

- On the F train,a little girl holding up a pennny :
"O gem of water , O gem of night
Where is the ocean within your grasp of sight?"

-A woman vomiting on the platform.

- a man with a key-tar, sining Stevie Wonder.

-An empty cup, brightly stained from red wine.

-A giant puddle, bright with neon street signs.

-A homeless man, he looked like a mummy.

-A street sign : ' Rough Road'...

-A confused street light turning on and off.

- Three teenagers playing soccer with a styrofoam block.

-An umbrella on a subway seat.

-A man look twice a pretty woman.

-An open book on a lap on the subway: " Perhaps" she said with a smile " some night..."

- A girl whose name I couldnt place.

- A book he left.

- Brooklyn from the F train.

- Wet tracks from a stray cat on clean pavement.

- Box of porcelin hands, reaching out ..

-Piles of patterened fabric.
